Job summary

PPG is seeking a Spray Technician, Weekday Nights in Cleveland, OH. You will join the Paint Process Laboratory team, using advanced spray equipment and robotics to test coatings for real-world applications. Report to the Applications Supervisor and work onsite with paid training and no prior experience required.

This weekday night shift runs Tuesday to Friday, 7pm–5:30am. Base salary is $52,000 with an additional weekend premium.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate spray equipment following standard procedures.
  • Run paint applications tests using automated and robotic systems, spray and test samples of paint from production.
  • Record process settings and test results using computer systems.
  • Analyze and communicate detailed observations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized lab (5S standards).
  • Enter data into applications logs.

Job description

As a Spray Technician, Weekday Nights, you will join our Paint Process Laboratory team. You will work with advanced spray equipment and robotics to test and evaluate coatings used in real-world applications. You will report to the Applications Supervisor and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.

NO Prior Experience Necessary. Paid Training.

This shift is Tuesday to Friday from 7pm to 5:30am.

The base salary for this position is $52,000 with an additional weekend premium offered.

Main Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate spray equipment following standard procedures
  • Run paint applications tests using automated and robotic systems, spray and test samples of paint from production
  • Record process settings and test results using computer systems
  • Analyze and communicate detailed observations
  • Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized lab (5S standards)
  • Enter data into applications logs
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to preform physical tasks (standing, lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, etc.)
