Job summary

FineTurf LLC is seeking a Spray Team Leader in Charlotte, NC to manage a crew of 6–8 technicians and ensure high‑quality turf care. You will train, coach, and supervise daily routes, and uphold FineTurf’s SOPs.

This hands‑on leadership role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays, a starting salary of $65,000+ plus a monthly bonus, PTO, holidays, 401k with match, and health, dental, and vision coverage. You’ll help build a professional, accountable team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of lawn care or turf application experience.
• Successful leading and developing a team.
• Strong knowledge of turf, weeds, and correct product mixing and application.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Organized and comfortable using technology.
• North Carolina pesticide license required.
• Positive, adaptable attitude and a solutions-focused leadership style.
• Results-driven and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, and support a team of 6 to 8 spray technicians through morning huddles and 1-on-1s.
• Ensure every truck is mixed correctly and equipment is ready before the team leaves the shop.
• Run technician inspections and quality checks to keep callbacks low.
• Review technician notes daily and uphold SOPs.
• Track team production, charge rate, and callback rate using mobile software and reporting tools.
• Oversee new hire training and sign off technicians ready to run routes.
• Set the tone for professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.

Spray Team Leader - Lead a Team of 6-8 Technicians - $65K+

At FineTurf, this role is about more than spraying lawns. You lead a team of 6 to 8 spray technicians, set the standard for quality, and make sure every route is done right the first time.

We are looking for an experienced lawn care professional who can develop technicians, hold a high standard, and hit team production goals. This role is built to stay focused: routing is handled by our Operations Manager, and service calls, upset customers, and cancellations are handled by our Agronomist. That leaves you free to train and lead your people.
