Job summary

FineTurf LLC is seeking a Commercial Spray Technician to support large-scale turf management across commercial properties in Raleigh, NC. This full-time, year-round role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with weekends off, and pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour plus bonuses that can bring annual earnings to $45k–$60k.

You’ll work outdoors, operate commercial spray rigs, and play a key role in maintaining high-profile landscapes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of lawn care, agriculture, turf, or outdoor labor experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with commercial spraying or willingness to be trained.
• Be able to obtain NC Pesticide Applicator License (assistance provided).

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizer, weed control, fungicides, and pest treatments using commercial spray rigs and equipment.
• Manage large commercial properties and turf areas.
• Diagnose turf issues (weeds, pests, diseases, soil problems) and treat them.
• Maintain detailed service records for commercial clients.
• Ensure safe operation of spray trucks and equipment.
• Provide clear communication with clients and team members.
• Represent FineTurf with professionalism on every site.

What You’ll Do

As a Commercial Spray Technician, you’ll handle a variety of large-scale turf management tasks with accuracy and professionalism. Your role includes:

• Applying fertilizer, weed control, fungicides, and pest treatments using commercial spray rigs and equipment
• Managing large commercial properties
• Diagnosing and treating turf issues such as weeds, pests, diseases, soil problems, and more
• Maintaining detailed service records for commercial clients
• Ensuring safe and proper operation of spray trucks, ride‑on units, and application tools
• Providing clear, professional communication with clients, managers, and teammates
• Representing FineTurf with professionalism, quality, and ownership on every site

What We’re Looking For

You’ll stand out if you bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of lawn care, agriculture, turf, or outdoor labor experience
• Experience with commercial spraying or willingness to be trained
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset
• Ability to work independently on large properties
• Proactive, self‑motivated approach - you see what needs to be done and do it
• Ability to obtain NC Pesticide Applicator License (we can help you get it)
• Professional references
