Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 0–1 year experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Able to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Able to safely use spray paint and operate paint equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and masking.
• Check and prepare paint for use in spray equipment.
• Maintain and adjust spray guns and equipment for proper operation.
• Maintain spray booths and equipment.
• Label and dispose of paint waste appropriately.
• Ensure job meets requirements before leaving work center.
• Keep work area safe and clean per procedures.
• Conserve resources and use supplies efficiently.
• Train others in painting tasks as needed.
• Inspect work before passing to next operation.
• Document actions on production and quality forms.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
