Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Powder Coat Operator in Bolingbrook, IL to prepare and coat components. You will load/unload fixtures, perform electro chemical cleaning, apply powder coating, cure parts, and inspect quality while maintaining equipment and a safe work environment.

Prior experience with powder coating and ability to read drawings are preferred. The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to follow instructions in English, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Holds a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts onto fixtures.
• Prepare parts for coating including electro chemical cleaning as required.
• Operate coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth systems.
• Bake/cure parts at appropriate temperatures.
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment and comply with regulations.
