G&W Electric Co. seeks a Powder Coat Operator to prepare components for powder coat application, load/unload parts, and operate coating equipment in a mid-shift production setting in Bolingbrook, IL.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration within a team. The candidate should read drawings, have basic computer skills, and be capable of working independently while following written and verbal instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings or Bills of Materials.
• Requires basic computer skills for records and data entry.
• Able to safely use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts onto fixtures and prepare for coating.
• Follow powder coating application processes and operate coating equipment.
• Inspect parts for coating quality and document results.
• Bake/cure parts at required temperatures and ensure timely throughput.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Train others as needed and communicate with team members.
