Spray Operator # Spray OperatorHot JobPlant 2 Upholstery Plant - Lenoir, NC 28645## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## DescriptionThis position works the line spraying furniture with a variety of finishes: Stain, Lacquer, and Sealer.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line* Use spray guns to coat furniture frames, make adjustments to liquid product according needs.* Perform line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner* Complete pre and post cleaning production run* Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production* Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required* PPR in designated areas, confined, space safety, safe chemical handling, etc.* Perform other duties as assigned## Qualifications**Qualifications:*** Minimum two (2) years experience in spraying in a factory environment, preferred* Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills* Effective organizational, stress and time management skills* Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines* Ability to work independently or as a team member* Ability to read work instructions**Physical Requirements:*** Standing, walking, bending for an 8-hour shift* Able to lift up to 50 pounds* Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects* Move products from upholstery locations to finished products**Environment:*** Climate controlled production floor* Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching* Lifting of up to 50 pounds
