Job summary

RHF at Century Chair Plant 3 in Hickory, NC is seeking a dedicated finishing technician to apply final coats of stain, lacquer, and other finishes to our furniture.

The role requires reading work orders, following finish schedules, adjusting spray guns and equipment to specification, and maintaining safety policies on the shop floor. Prior finishing experience is a plus; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Summary Job Description

This position is required to apply the final coats of stain, lacquer, and other finishes to the furniture.

Essential Duties

• Follows the instructions of the work order for the finish that is required on the product
• Takes the finish schedule and color panel and follows the process from start to finish
• Adjusts spray guns and other equipment to order specification without assistance
• Must be familiar with various wood species
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
