Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line.
• Use spray guns to coat furniture frames; adjust liquids as needed.
• Perform line changeovers safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre- and post-cleaning of production runs.
• Maintain communication with other departments and notify of problems affecting efficiency.
• Follow all required work safety practices.

Job description

This position works the line spraying furniture with a variety of finishes: Stain, Lacquer, and Sealer.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production lineUse spray guns to coat furniture frames, make adjustments to liquid product according needs.Perform line changeovers in a safe and efficient mannerComplete pre and post cleaning production runMaintain communication with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of productionFollow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all requiredPPR in designated areas, confined, space safety, safe chemical handling, etc.Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum two (2) years experience in spraying in a factory environment, preferredEffective verbal, listening and written communication skillsEffective organizational, stress and time management skillsDemonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to work independently or as a team memberAbility to read work instructionsPhysical Requirements:Standing, walking, bending for an 8-hour shiftAble to lift up to 50 poundsRegular use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objectsMove products from upholstery locations to finished productsEnvironment:Climate controlled production floorProlonged periods of standing, bending, and reachingLifting of up to 50 pounds
