Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a SPQREA-Associate to develop business, market commercial real estate properties, and negotiate leasing terms, purchases, or sales on behalf of clients.

You will support the brokerage function by prospecting, networking, and presenting market data, accompanying clients to sites, and preparing offers and term sheets, leases, and amendments, all while upholding CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating leasing terms, purchases, or sales of assets.
• Ability to market commercial real estate properties and develop business.
• Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
• Knowledge of standard real estate industry practices and market data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling additional services to the current client base.
• Provide clients with leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values.
• Accompany prospective clients to property sites to discuss features, leasing rates, and terms.
• Assemble property data such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, etc.
• Prepare RFPs and review responses; evaluate data and prepare specialized reports on rents and market comparisons.
• Gather and coordinate materials for transactions such as listing agreements, leases, and sales agreements; prepare offers and term sheets.
• Assist attorneys in preparing real estate contracts; participate in negotiations and due diligence.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

About the Role:

As a CBRE SPQREA-Associate, you will be responsible for developing business, marketing commercial real estate properties, and negotiating the leasing terms, purchase, or sale of an asset on behalf of clients.

This job is part of the Brokerage job function. They are responsible for the buying, selling, and letting of residential, office, and commercial properties on behalf of clients for occupation.

What You'll Do:

• Secure new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling additional services to the current client base.
• Provide clients with pertinent information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values.
• Accompany prospective clients to property sites to discuss features, leasing rates, and terms.
• Assemble property data for such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, etc.
• Prepare RFPs and review responses. Evaluate data and prepare specialized reports on average asking rents, tenants in the market, historical data, and market comparisons.
• Gather and coordinate materials necessary for transactions such as listing agreements, commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements. Prepare offers, term sheets, and lease amendments.
• Assist attorneys in preparing real estate contracts. Participate in negotiations and due diligence.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
