Job summary

Paper Transport is seeking a Network Sales Specialist to maximize revenue by utilizing our asset capacity in the spot market. You will monitor the spot market, negotiate with brokers, fill empty miles, and coordinate with internal teams to keep trucks moving efficiently.

The role requires strong communication, sound judgment, market awareness, and the ability to move quickly in a dynamic environment, with a focus on profitability and productive relationships with brokers and transportation

Qualifications

• One year of transportation, brokerage, logistics, dispatch, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with spot-market freight is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor spot-market conditions and identify profitable freight opportunities.
• Negotiate and secure spot-market freight with brokers.
• Coordinate with Operations to understand truck availability and network needs.
• Track loads from booking to completion and manage broker charges.
• Develop relationships with brokers and transportation partners.
• Adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
• Ensure loads are documented and communicated to internal teams.
