Qualifications

• 2+ years in freight brokerage/dispatching.
• Must be a team player and provide leadership.
• Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette.
• Strong communication with drivers, customers, and staff.
• Knowledge of multi-state geography.
• Organize, prioritize and solve problems.
• Able to work in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Experience with Windows applications and industry software.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates, dispatch and assign carriers.
• Manage carrier portfolio and relationships.
• Source new carriers for the portfolio.
• Communicate shipment details to/from carriers and internal team.
