Job summary

The Norfolk Tides, Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, seek an Account Executive to join the Ticket Sales Team in Norfolk, VA. You will generate new business, engage fans, and deliver outstanding service to ensure fan retention and strong revenue.

As part of Diamond Baseball Holdings, you’ll work in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus a genuine sales drive, will help you build lasting relationships and meet seasonal targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of sales or customer service experience.
• Proven track record in sales and building quality relationships, preferably within sports.
• Friendly and professional telephone manner.
• Strong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional career.
• Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude and adaptability to schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization with the utmost professionalism in the community.
• Generate new business by prospecting, cold calling, appointments, stadium tours, and attending networking/community events.
• Renew all group, and hospitality/suite clients.
• Work closely with sales and marketing to develop compelling sales programs for long-term sustainability.
• Track activity through CRM, maintain records for leads and account status.
• Meet and/or exceed personal sales goals.
• Meet and/or exceed daily and weekly outbound call/appointment minimums.
• Contribute to overall operation by assisting in other areas when needed.
