Position: Sports Physical Therapist, Clinical Specialist

Shift: Tuesday 6:30 AM - 7 PM, Friday 6:30 AM - 6 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM - 4 PM, with 5 hours of paperwork from home on Monday and/or Wednesday

We are seeking a Sports Physical Therapist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will plan, evaluate, organize, and implement Physical Therapy treatment programs tailored to patients from infancy to adulthood.

Scheduled shifts: Tuesday 6:30 AM - 7 PM, Friday 6:30 AM - 6 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM - 4 PM, plus 5 hours of paperwork from home on Monday and/or Wednesday.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient evaluations and reassessments following hospital and department guidelines.
  • Create individualized care plans based on evaluation findings.
  • Provide clinical support within outpatient clinics or specialty programs.
  • Mentor less experienced staff in your area of expertise, based on evaluations of the learner.
  • Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record, aiming for no more than six errors annually.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for at least one professional student per year.
  • Report unsafe situations, injuries, or potential issues to management.
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement initiatives.

Note: All successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing to ensure workplace safety.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • PT certification from the state of Texas.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience or 1 year of medical residency experience (preferred).
