KELOLAND Media Group, in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Sports Marketing Account Executive.

The Sports Marketing Account Executive generates advertising revenue by convincing potential clients of the benefits of advertising in sports programs on KELOLAND Media outlets and fostering local NIL agreements with KELOLAND Media Group and athletes.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Implement strategies to grow revenue and exceed goals.
  2. Establish credible relationships with the local business community.
  3. Make sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
  4. Maintain and develop new accounts.
  5. Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
  6. Explain how advertising can promote clients' products or services effectively.
  7. Provide clients with rate information for advertising across all media.
  8. Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel.
  9. Collaborate with clients and station staff to develop advertisements.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of sales experience, preferably in media.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Experience in achieving long-term objectives and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
