Job summary

United States Golf Association is seeking motivated interns for championship hospitality during the 2027 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and 2027 U.S. Women's Open at Inverness Club. This on-site internship provides hands-on experience in hospitality operations, client service, and event planning.

Interns will assist with setup, access control, vendor coordination, and post-event wrap-up, gaining exposure to multiple USGA departments while supporting a first-class championship experience.

Qualifications

Undergrad students preferred.
Able to lift heavy items safely.
Stand for extended periods (12+ hours).
Strong organizational, planning, communication, and presentation skills.
Collaborative, high energy, and spirited; creative thinker.

Responsibilities

Pre-Championship Responsibilities: assist with setup, build-out needs and client load-in to ensure guest-ready spaces.
Championship Week Responsibilities: support daily hospitality operations, access control, venue cleanliness, and vendor coordination.
Post-Championship Responsibilities: assist with load-out and space breakdown.
Pitch In Where Needed: take on hands-on hospitality and operational tasks as required.
