Job summary

USGA is offering internship roles supporting hospitality operations for the 2027 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and the 2027 U.S. Women’s Open at Inverness Club.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in planning, client management, and operations while representing the organization professionally with clients, vendors, volunteers, and internal teams. These on-site internships cover pre-Championship setup, Championship Week operations, and post-Championship close-out, with housing provided at each

Qualifications

• Undergrad student preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items following Safe Lifting guidelines.
• Ability to be on feet for 12+ hours.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and follow directions.
• Collaborative, high energy, and spirited.
• Interest in hospitality sales or service.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Championship: support setup, build-out, facility cleaning, inspections and client load-in.
• During Championship Week: assist with daily hospitality operations, access control, logistics, and client requests.
• Post-Championship: assist with load-out and space breakdown.
• Pitch in wherever needed with hands-on hospitality tasks.
