Job description

Sports and Entertainment projects are part of our DNA, and we have a core team of national sports and entertainment experts and a diverse portfolio of past and current projects. The Practice Leader will capitalize on industry expertise and project successes to continue the national growth of the practice through strategic leadership and business development acumen.

The Practice Leader is responsible for the development of the Practice, driving business growth, client engagement, and talent development. This role collaborates with the other Practice Leaders to develop a cross-office strategic alliance, to develop a clear and coordinated approach to integrate initiatives, and to deliver practice leadership across markets and teams.

Deliver Results
  • Establish and lead national strategy for the Sports & Entertainment market sector.
  • Lead business planning efforts, including forecasting, budgeting, and alignment with firmwide goals.
  • Expand client relationships and market share through high-impact business development and branding.
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering subject matter expertise and design leadership.
  • Strengthen firm visibility through participation in industry forums, thought leadership, and project wins.
  • Partner with marketing and internal teams to elevate proposals, presentations, and overall positioning.
  • Ensure excellence in project delivery through a balance of design integrity, scope alignment, and client service.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional licensure in a relevant discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years in professional services, with at least 5 years in practice leadership.
  • Experience within the architecture, design, or planning industry is highly valued.
  • Established national reputation or network within the sports and entertainment sector.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative leadership, business development, and strategic growth.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM, project management tools, and digital marketing platforms.
