Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to lead projects with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a dynamic environment. This role involves managing project quality, timeliness, and safety, mentoring the project team, and developing strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication skills.

As a Project Manager I, you will oversee budgets, contracts, procurement, and subcontracts, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and drive project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum six years of related experience.
• Ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of construction law and business practices.
• Experience in commercial/renewable/EPC/tech projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall financial health of projects.
• Lead EPC contract negotiations and project schedules.
• Lead vendor procurement and bid/award phases.
• Develop and maintain project financial projections.
• Allocate estimates, cost codes, and approve invoices.
• Provide financials and billings to accounting.
• Manage subcontracts, suppliers, and trade partner selections.
• Handle billings, contract management, and change orders.
• Develop Assistant PMs and PEs, review timecards.
