Job summary

Mortenson Construction is currently seeking a Project Manager I or II to lead project quality, timeliness, and safety while mentoring the team. This role also focuses on developing and strengthening customer relationships through outstanding service.

Responsibilities include managing overall project finances, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, tracking budgets and schedules, approving invoices, and acting as the main point of contact with owners and on-site representatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Experience managing complex construction projects and coordinating multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall financial health of projects including subcontracts and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project financial projections and allocate project estimates.
• Determine cost codes, approve invoices, and provide financials to Accounting.
• Lead/Manage Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s), and guide career development.
• Maintain schedule and budget, with focus on quality, risk, safety, and compliance.
