Job summary

The City of Wasilla is seeking a hands-on Facilities Supervisor for the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center. You will supervise laborers and volunteers, oversee daily operations, and ensure a safe, clean environment for patrons and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year operating a multi-use sports complex or similar facility; two years supervisory experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Certifications for equipment operation to be obtained as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily facility operations and supervise laborers and on-call staff.
• Snow/ice removal and ice sheet prep using resurfacer.
• Set up event equipment and prepare spaces for programs and events.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, and grounds; perform basic repairs and safety checks.
