Job summary

Bally's Biloxi is seeking a guest-focused cashier to manage wagering tickets, cash handling, and customer inquiries at a busy casino floor. This role requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to balance cash drawers at shift start and end.

You will assist guests with betting, operate self-betting terminals, and ensure compliance with federal reporting requirements. Candidates should have basic computer skills including casino systems and MS Office, and be available to work

Responsibilities

• Create wagering tickets and cash tickets for guests.
• Collect money from guests for wagers and make correct change.
• Assist guests with wagering questions and self-betting terminals.
• Verify and balance drawer funds at start and end of shift.
• Maintain a neat, organized window and professional appearance.
• Record and submit cash handling paperwork for end-of-shift balance.
• Comply with Currency Transaction Reporting requirements and 31 Bank Secrecy Act.

Job description

• Creates wagering tickets and cashes tickets for guests.
• Collects appropriate amount of money from the guest for wagers and makes the correct change
• Assists guests with questions regarding wagering and how to use the self-betting terminals.
• Verifies and balanced drawer funds at beginning and end of shift. Safeguards said funds.
• Maintains assigned window in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
• Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
• Provides superior guest service to all guests.
• Removes, records, and turns in amount of cash in register at end of shift, with necessary paperwork.
• Ensures compliance with the federal currency transaction reporting requirements.
• Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Cage transactions.
• Must have basic computer skills including casino systems and MS applications including Word and Excel.
• Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Maintain flexibility to handle changing priorities.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
