Job summary

Bally's Shreveport is seeking a Guest Services/Cage Clerk to support wagering activities, process cash transactions, and assist guests with self-betting terminals. The role requires attention to detail, strong math skills, and excellent guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.

The incumbent will balance drawers, maintain a neat workstation, and comply with Bank Secrecy Act regulations while representing Bally's Shreveport with professionalism. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; five years related experience.
• Must know and comply with Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act for credit/cage transactions.
• Basic computer skills including casino systems and MS Word/Excel.
• Louisiana Gaming Commission work permit required.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly.

• Collects appropriate amount of money from the guest for wagers and makes the correct change
• Assists guests with questions regarding wagering and how to use the self-betting terminals.
• Verifies and balanced drawer funds at beginning and end of shift. Safeguards said funds.
• Maintains assigned window in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
• Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
• Provides superior guest service to all guests.
• Removes, records, and turns in amount of cash in register at end of shift, with necessary paperwork.
• Ensures compliance with the federal currency transaction reporting requirements.

• Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.

Competencies

• High School diploma general education (GED) and five years related experience.
• Previous money handling experience preferred
• Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Cage transactions.
• Must have basic computer skills including casino systems and MS applications including Word and Excel.
• Data entry skills preferred.
• Louisiana Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position
• Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
