Job summary

Sasaki is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Architect to lead sport-related planning and design across our Boston base with opportunities to work in Denver, New York, or Los Angeles. The role requires 8+ years in a design firm and licensure, with mentoring responsibilities and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

You will drive design thinking, client engagement, and multidisciplinary coordination, while developing programs, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture and licensure required.
8+ years of design firm experience.
Proficiency in Revit; Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead project strategy, planning, and design from concept through delivery.
Develop space programs and concepts through client outreach and engagement.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, schedules, budgets, and sub-consultants with minimal oversight.
Contribute to business development and cultivate strong client relationships.
Develop thought leadership and content for publishing, social media, and conferences.
Mentor junior staff and foster growth through hands-on work and feedback.
Collaborate with campus planners, site designers, and interior designers.
