Job summary

Dundee Township Park District is seeking a part-time Community Partnership Coordinator to build and manage sponsorships, secure funding, and support district-wide events. The role interfaces with Recreation, Parks, Finance, and Marketing to expand partnerships and deliver enhanced community experiences.

The position offers flexible hours averaging about 20 per week, with some evenings and weekends required for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; or related field.
• 2+ years in sponsorship development, fundraising, sales, or events preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, local businesses, and partners.
• Create sponsorship packages, proposals, and materials.
• Secure cash and in-kind sponsorships for programs and events.
• Track revenue, contracts, and deliverables; manage renewals.
• Ensure fulfillment of sponsorship agreements including branding and on-site benefits.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create sales materials.
• Prepare post-event sponsorship reports and evaluations.
• Assist with planning and execution of district-wide events.
• Support event concepts, logistics, and staff coordination.
• Represent the Park District at outreach events and partner meetings.
