The Sponsored Projects Administrator 1 performs administrative andfinancial duties and is responsible for supporting and contributingas a service resource related to the management of grants,contracts, and sponsored programs, and for providing faculty,researchers, and staff with guidance on financial, administrative,and regulatory issues arising from the application for and theexecution of sponsored awards and agreements.
There is a significant emphasis on budgeting, financial andaccounting activity, and financial and operational monitoring inthis position. The successful candidate will have a strong customerservice focus, be a self-starter who is able to work independentlyand as part of a team to meet shared and individual goals, and whohas demonstrated the ability to be flexible, adaptable, andresponsive. In addition, the successful candidate will have theability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students fromdiverse backgrounds and will maintain the highest ethicalstandards.
