Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of a complex Phase 2b inflammation study in a sponsor-dedicated environment. The role emphasizes ownership from start-up to closeout with cross-functional collaboration and strong vendor oversight.

You will manage day-to-day operations, timelines, risks, and deliverables, partnering with internal teams and external CROs to drive study progress in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical project management experience in clinical research.
• Experience running clinical trials from start-up through closeout.
• Experience supporting complex Phase 2b studies in inflammation.
• Strong CRO/vendor management and oversight experience.
• Proven ability to independently drive study execution in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational execution of a complex Phase 2b inflammation study from start-up through closeout.
• Independently manage day-to-day study operations with minimal oversight.
• Own timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain deep operational awareness across all aspects of the trial and work in the weeds when needed.
• Ensure study milestones stay on track in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Partner cross-functionally to identify risks, remove roadblocks, and implement solutions quickly.
• Lead vendor management activities and oversee external partners and CROs.
• Contribute to vendor selection and ongoing performance management.
• Hold vendors accountable to timelines and quality expectations.
• Mentor or support junior team members in a matrixed global environment.
