Job summary

Drake Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Spline/Thread Rolling Machine Job Setter on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) to prepare and adjust automatic spline roll-forming machines for precise shaft forming.

You will verify dimensions and quality before production and work in a full-time, non-exempt role. Responsibilities include setting racks, reading blueprints, using micrometers and gauges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, rolling orders, and mill schedules.
• Experience working with spline-rolling or similar machine setups.

Responsibilities

• Position spline racks and verify height with a micrometer.
• Adjust vernier scales to align machine centerline.
• Install racks and clamp securely; set up headstock for workpiece length.
• Run trials, inspect splines with micrometers and gauges, and adjust as needed.
• Set up roll-forming machines per blueprints and rolling orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
