Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Nashville, TN is seeking a Splicing Manager to oversee the preparation, splicing, and enclosing of fiber optic and coaxial telecommunications plant. The candidate should have strong knowledge of telecom networks, fiber/coax materials, splice enclosures, and fusion splicing equipment.

The role emphasizes leadership, data interpretation, problem solving, and the ability to guide a team while ensuring quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Our Splicing Manager shall supervise employees in the preparation, splicing, and enclosing of fiber optic and coaxial telecommunications plant. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure; familiarity with fiber optic and coaxial cable, splice enclosures and the functionality of each; ability to use TDR/OTDR and fusion splicing equipment; ability to read fiber matrices; ability to interpret and analyze data; and, ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
