MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Splicing Manager to oversee all phases of utility construction with emphasis on coax splicing. Lead crews, mentor technicians, and ensure safety and quality on projects. Strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing coax or fiber splicers
• 5+ years of coax or fiber splicing experience
• Hands-on approach with problem-solving in the field
• Ability to coach and mentor a team
• Basic accounting principles knowledge
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn custom software

Responsibilities

As a Splicing Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all phases of utility construction with an emphasis on coax splicing. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

• Provide leadership in the utility construction industry
• Develop your team’s skill set and knowledge of coax splicing
• Give direction to multiple crews and their job site activities
• Support the company-wide safety culture
• Drive your team to meet deadlines and produce quality projects
• Provide a high level of customer service when interfacing with customers for escalated issues
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
• You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
• You are looking for long-term projects
• You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
• You have 3+ years of experience managing Coax or Fiber Splicers
• You have 5+ years of Coax or Fiber Splicing experience
• You enjoy problem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
• You embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team
• You have an understanding of basic accounting principles
• You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software
• You have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Compensation of $70,000-$85,000 annually, depending on the experience.
