Job summary

VB Spine, LLC is seeking a Surgical Sales Representative to support spine procedures and train clinicians on VB Spine instruments. You will manage instrument sets, stay current on techniques, and relay territory updates to leadership.

The role requires a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred), OR experience, strong communication, and travel readiness. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year accredited college or university preferred.
• Surgical Technologist certificate or nursing degree preferred.
• Mastery of spinal anatomy and landmarks necessary to instruct surgeons on VB Spine products.
• Three (3) years’ experience in a clinical/operating room environment preferred.
• Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
• Strong team player with ability to work with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to travel to all accounts within assigned territory as directed by Sales Manager.
• Must lift and carry multiple surgical trays (minimum 24 lbs).
• Available on a 24-hour per day basis to respond to customer emergencies.
• Compliance with OSHA safety regulations; VB Spine provides a safe working environment.
• Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Represent and cover Spine surgical cases professionally, efficiently and effectively.
• Articulate the proper use of surgical instruments and implants to surgeons, nurses, and sales reps.
• Process instrument sets and paperwork efficiently and promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of instruments, implants, techniques, and procedures.
• Keep Sales Representatives and Regional Manager informed of territory happenings and progress regularly.
• Provide support to territory as needed by Sales Representative and Sales Manager.
• Monitor competitive activity and stay informed of new products.
• Manage and maintain inventory.
• Attend sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
• Assist in Local, Regional and National Medical Education events.
• Complete required reports correctly and submit timely.
