Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant, resort, or high-volume setting- preferred.
• 1+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a restaurant or bar environment- preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service- required.
• Experience using a restaurant POS system and handling cash and card transactions accurately- required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation – required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers in spoken and written English - required.

Spencer's is a full-service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while bartending shifts generally begin in the afternoon and continue through dinner service. Occasional earlier shifts may be scheduled for special events, including brunches. This hands-on lead role crafts and serves high-quality beverages, connects with guests, and sets the pace for polished, attentive bar service. Working closely with restaurant leadership, the Lead Bartender supports training, reinforces service and safety standards, and helps the bar team stay organized and energized during busy shifts.
