Job summary

Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge, CO seeks a Lead Bartender for Spencer's Restaurant. You will craft high-quality beverages, supervise the bar team, and ensure guest-focused service in a mountain resort setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of bartending, 1+ year leadership, strong cocktail knowledge, POS/cash handling experience, and clear English communication. This is a full-time position with benefits in a dynamic alpine environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending in a full-service restaurant, resort, or high-volume setting.
• 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience in a restaurant or bar.
• Demonstrated knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and responsible service.
• Experience using a restaurant POS system and handling cash and card transactions accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Clear spoken and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create an engaging bar experience.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Lead by example during service and help prioritize orders and maintain pace.
• Partner with leadership to train, coach, and support bartenders and service staff.
• Build knowledge of beverages, seasonal features, and local products.
• Verify ages and follow responsible service and safety procedures.
