Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will provide hands-on patient care while guiding a multidisciplinary therapy staff. The role combines clinical excellence with team leadership to help patients achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, oversee evaluations and treatments, and drive quality improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• Current state PT/OT/SLP license required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
