Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance clinical excellence with team leadership while still delivering hands-on patient care. You will mentor therapists and technicians, coordinate care plans, and drive continuous quality improvement in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The role emphasizes supervising clinical staff, evaluating patients, and developing therapy programs to achieve meaningful outcomes for our patients.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years of discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
