Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance clinical excellence with team leadership. You will provide hands-on patient care while mentoring therapists, overseeing evaluations, and shaping therapy plans to achieve meaningful outcomes.

The role emphasizes developing staff, coordinating schedules, and driving quality improvements across the therapy team in a national inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP license
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certification preferred
• Leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
