Job summary

Connect Pediatrics in Irving/Arlington, Texas is seeking a bilingual Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our in-home therapy team. You will work closely with families to deliver coordinated pediatric care and build lasting relationships in the comfort of patients' homes.

Requirements include a current Texas SLP Assistant License, reliable transportation, BLS/CPR, and a preference for bilingual SLPA.

Qualifications

  • A current, valid Texas SLP Assistant License (No clinical deficiency needs)
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
  • Prefer Bilingual SLPA

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient. Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
  • Actively participate in care plan with team leads/supervisor to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
