Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in the Austin, Texas area. You will provide in-home therapy to pediatric patients and collaborate with families to set and monitor goals within a coordinated care plan.

As part of our team, you will work with a multidisciplinary group, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in regular progress updates.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients.
• Engage with patients' families, providing regular updates on goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic treatment plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation reflecting care and plan changes.
• Participate in care plan discussions with team leads/supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.

Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient. Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.

Actively participate in care plan with team leads/supervisor to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
