Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team to provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients in the Mesquite, Texas area. You will implement treatment plans, engage with families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

This role offers flexible scheduling, one-on-one training, and fully electronic documentation supported by an office team. We value collaboration, communication with families, and building lasting relationships while delivering

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and automotive insurance.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients.
• Engage families with regular updates on goals and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic treatment plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation reflecting care provided and changes to plans.
• Participate in meetings with PT Supervisor/team leads to discuss patient progress.

• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with PT Supervisor/team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
