HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to join the PRN pool in Lehigh Acres, FL. You will help patients improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through skilled, evidence-based care within a supportive rehabilitation team.

You will evaluate, treat, document, and educate patients, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and care managers to ensure smooth transitions and consistent patient progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida required.
• CCC certification by ASHA preferred.
• BLS certification current.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using structured assessments and observations.
• Developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans for communication and swallowing goals.
• Documenting evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries.
• Educating patients and families on therapy goals and home strategies.
• Collaborating with physicians and rehab teams to support coordinated care.
