Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• SLP certification as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans for communication and safe swallowing.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety recommendations, and home strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation staff, and care managers for coordinated care.
