Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient rehabilitation experience.
• CCC awarded by ASHA is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using assessments, tools, and observation.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans to support communication and safe swallowing.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries with accuracy.
• Educate patients and families on goals, safety, home strategies, and progress expectations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehab staff, and care managers to support coordinated care and transitions.
