HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to help patients improve communication, cognitive and swallowing abilities through evidence-based care. You will work within a collaborative rehabilitation team in a well-resourced environment that supports clinical judgement and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Active SLP license/certification required.
BCLS/CPR within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Evaluating communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
Developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans.
Documenting evaluations and discharge summaries with timeliness and accuracy.
Educating patients and families on therapy goals and home strategies.
Collaborating with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation teams to support coordinated care.
