Job summary

Sprenger Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-house role at Elms Retirement Village in Wellington, OH. This position emphasizes clinical autonomy and direct resident impact, avoiding contract-therapy constraints.

You will evaluate, treat, and develop plans with residents and families, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality outcomes and patient-first care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility is required or pending.
• Current SLP license or license-eligible is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct dysphagia evaluations and make evidence-based diet and intervention recommendations.
• Provide cognitive-linguistic therapy to support functional independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
• Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Current SLP license or license-eligible
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferredCommitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
