Job summary

Sprenger Therapy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in-house at Rose Lane Health and Rehab in Massillon, OH. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders and develop individualized plans with the care team.

We value dysphagia expertise, cognitive-communication therapy, and collaboration across PT, OT, nursing, and dietary to deliver whole-person care. Licensure or eligibility is required, with mentorship available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY credential.
• Current SLP license or license-eligible required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct dysphagia evaluations and make evidence-based diet and intervention recommendations.
• Provide cognitive-linguistic therapy to support functional independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
• Document clearly and efficiently to support quality outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC‑SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Current SLP license or license‑eligible
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferred
• Commitment to patient‑first, outcomes‑driven care
