Job summary

Anchor Lodge in Lorain, OH is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-house, family-owned therapy team. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized plans in collaboration with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary group.

You’ll work in a supportive, autonomy-valuing environment where clinical decisions directly impact resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP credential or CFY eligibility.
• Current SLP license or license-eligible.
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferred.
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates encouraged to apply with mentorship and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with residents, families, and the care team.
• Conduct dysphagia evaluations and make evidence-based diet and intervention recommendations.
• Provide cognitive-linguistic therapy to support independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary for coordinated, whole-person care.
• Document clearly to support quality outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Current SLP license or license-eligible
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferred
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
