Job summary

Sprenger Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house, family‑owned team in Tallmadge, OH. You’ll evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized plans in collaboration with families and the interdisciplinary care team.

We prioritize autonomy, thorough documentation, and outcomes‑driven care, with mentorship available for CFY candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC‑SLP certification or CFY eligibility is required for consideration.
• Current SLP license or license-eligible in Ohio or applicable state.
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct dysphagia evaluations and provide evidence-based diet and intervention recommendations.
• Provide cognitive‑linguistic therapy to support functional independence.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
• Document clearly and efficiently to support quality outcomes.

• Current SLP license or license‑eligible
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferred
• Commitment to patient‑first, outcomes‑driven care
