Job summary

Sprenger Therapy is the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a family-owned organization operating 12 skilled nursing facilities in Ohio and South Carolina. This role focuses on evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with the care team, and document outcomes to enhance patient quality of life.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility.
  • Current SLP license or license-eligible.
  • Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents and care team.
  • Conduct dysphagia evaluations and make diet recommendations.
  • Provide cognitive-linguistic therapy to support functional independence.
  • Document clearly in support of quality outcomes.
