Job summary

Sprenger Therapy, the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

This in-house role offers autonomy, collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team, and mentorship for CFY candidates; competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and strong commitment to patient-first outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY.
• Current SLP license or license-eligible.
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferred.
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.
• CFY candidates encouraged to apply — mentorship and supervision provided.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct dysphagia evaluations and make evidence-based diet and intervention recommendations.
• Provide cognitive-linguistic therapy to support functional independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
• Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
