Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC, is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehab team on a PRN basis. You will evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, aiming to improve function and quality of life in a 60-bed facility.

The role requires a Master's or Doctorate in SLP with SC licensure, CCC-SLP preferred, and experience in skilled nursing or long-term care. Competitive pay and flexible PRN scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and required by some facilities.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled speech-language pathology services to residents.
• Supervise CFYs and students where permitted.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families about progress and discharge.
• Participate in care plan meetings and rehabilitation conferences.
• Complete documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Educate residents and families on communication strategies and safety precautions.
